Photo of the Day: Something that Sparkles

Yesterday, I took the kids to spend a few days with their grandparents, affording me a MUCH-NEEDED break from parenting. Today, I took Freckles for a walk along Salado Creek--the poor dog gets quite neglected around here, now that there are 2 kids demanding my time. It was so fun, taking her to play ball in the water. It reminded me of all the outings Brad and I would take her on before Aiden and Aubrey came along.

While there, I enjoyed playing with my camera a little, taking shots of Freckles. Her coat was so incredibly sparkly with the water droplets reflecting in the sun. I'm afraid my photography skills don't do it justice.

And just 'cause she's so darn cute...
