Photo of the Day: Trees

I couldn't decide between these two shots, so today you get two photos of the day. I snapped the first one when we went on a family walk this evening. Aiden insisted on bringing a notebook and a pen so he could draw a treasure map of the park area near our house. He was so cute, sitting beneath this tree which wrapped around him, forming a private little den where he could draw his creations. Later on in the walk, we came across this gorgeous tree, heavy with bright purple blooms. I couldn't help but snap a pic of my handsome boy in front of those lovely blooms.
